Shawna Chan, MD

Dr. Chan’s clinical interests include reproductive psychiatry (premenstrual dysphoric disorder, perinatal mental health), student mental health, Asian-American mental health, trauma, mood, anxiety, and psychotic disorders. She values a collaborative and holistic approach to treatment that integrates medication management, lifestyle factors, behavioral interventions, and psychotherapy.  She is also a clinical assistant professor of psychiatry at USC where she provides counseling and mental health services to undergraduate and graduate students. With a warm and empathetic approach, she appreciates the uniqueness of each individual and empowers them to achieve a greater sense of meaning and fulfillment throughout their mental health journey.
