Taylor Smyth, MD

Dr. Smyth provides medication management and psychotherapy for a variety of mental and emotional difficulties, including mood and anxiety disorders, ADHD, insomnia, grief, trauma, attachment issues, relationship problems, and self-esteem regulation. He believes that psychiatric treatment should be grounded in a collaborative, relational framework that acknowledges the unique and complex nature of each individual. To that end, he strives to approach every case with curiosity, humility, and a commitment to understand the meaning of symptoms in the broader context of a patient's life story. While he has expertise in the use of psychiatric medications, Dr. Smyth also appreciates the role of integrative and psychological treatments in effective mental health care and aims to help patients develop insight, implement effective lifestyle changes, and achieve meaningful life goals.
